Benzoin Oil 13ml SunSpirit
What it does:
Benzoin is a warm, calming oil especially useful in the treatment of conditions characterised by tension, whether it be emotional, respiratory or digestive. Steam inhalations of Benzoin provide a gentle expectorant action for congestive respiratory complaints making breathing easier, reducing inflammation and soothing sore throats. The calming nature of this oil makes it a soothing remedy for those who suffer from nervous tension, depression and stress related complaints. It can be added to a carrier oil to make an uplifting, comforting massage oil or added to the night time bath for those who have difficulty sleeping. Benzoin is also excellent for the treatment of dry cracked skin, especially on the heels.
Aroma: warm, balsamic, chocolaty-vanilla, it is considered a base note.
Blends well with: bergamot, black pepper, cardamom, frankincense, ginger, geranium, grapefruit, lemon, jasmine, patchouli, rose, sandalwood, ylang ylang.
Caution: Avoid during pregnancy. Do not take internally. Essential oils should always be blended with a base oil (such as sweet almond oil) before being applied to the body.
