Frankincense Oil 13ml SunSpirit
What it does:
Frankincense is a fortifying, stabilising oil that encourages introspection, inspiration and enlightenment making it highly prized in meditative practices. It excels in the treatment of anxiety, nervous tension and stress related conditions, in the vaporiser, massage blends and therapeutic baths. Frankincense is also a protective, regenerative tonic for the skin having a particular affinity for ageing, lined, dry skin. It is also useful when applied direct to closed wounds, blemishes and impetigo. Frankincense also has a gentle, relaxing expectorant action making it a an excellent remedy for asthma, bronchitis and any congestive conditions of the respiratory tract, add it to the vaporisers, therapeutic baths, steam inhalations or chest and throat rubs.
Aroma: haunting, fresh, warm, woody, sweet-balsamic undertones. A base note.
Blends well with: cypress, orange, mandarin, sandalwood, pine, geranium , vetiver, lavender, rose, clary sage, grapefruit, lemon, patchouli, ylang ylang, palma rosa.
Caution: Do not take internally. Essential oils should always be blended with a base oil (such as sweet almond oil) before being applied to the body.
