What it does:
Blackmores Lyp-Sin for the temporary relief of the symptoms of cold sores. Best taken at the first sign of a cold sore when a tingling is felt in the lip area, to provide relief from the discomfort and reduce the severity of the symptoms.

Supplementation with lysine should be accompanied by a diet high in foods rich in lysine (such as vegetables, legumes, fish, sprouts and dairy products), and avoiding foods rich in arginine (such as chocolate, nuts, oats, carob, coconut and soya beans).
