What it does:
Blackmores Vitamin A 5000 is important for vision, especially Night Vision, healthy skin function and repair, the maintenance of healthy mucous membranes and maintenance of a healthy immune system.
Vitamin A is essential for the formation of a pigment found in the retina of the eye that is needed for vision at night.Without sufficient vitamin A, the mucous membranes can become hard and dry and therefore are less able to carry out normal functions. The result is a greater susceptibility to infection. Sufficient Vitamin A is necessary for proper skin repair and growth
What is in it?
The recommended adult daily amount of vitamin A from all sources is 2500IU. WARNING - When taken in excess of 8000 IU vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant, or considering becoming pregnant, do not take vitamin A supplements without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
